Application Instructions

Application Step 1: please read carefully the following application instructions

I) Faculty/PostDocs need to fill in ONLY the online application form.
II) Students (undergraduate and graduate) and independent scholars / other applying to the CreteLing2018 will need to:
- a) fill in the online application form,
- b) upload a short CV (including information regarding the linguistics courses they have taken and their grades),
- c) ask their referee/supervisor/instructor to send a reference letter to creteling.admissions@gmail.com. If we do not receive a letter of reference, your application is not complete, so please make sure you stay in touch with your referee to make sure the letter is submitted.

Note that:

a) UoC students will receive a tuition waiver but cannot apply for a dorm waiver (please check NO on the relevant button in the next step).
b) UoC students will be eligible for the tuition waiver only if they fill in the application form using their institutional e-mail address.
c) Grants (i.e. dorm waivers) will be based on merit (based on the applicant's CV and reference letter) and will be equally distributed among undergraduate and graduate students.
d) Notification for grants will be included in your letter of acceptance.

After submitting your application, you will see a confirmation page. This means your application has gone through successfully. Please make sure you save a copy of the confirmation page (in the unlikely case that something goes wrong). If you are unable to submit your application, please write to creteling@gmail.com
